For a long time I have been threatening to start travel writing but a mixture of confidence and apprehension stopped me (that’s not OK hun) but an increased vigour for grabbing life by the danglies and throwing caution to the wind has led me to be typing this right now.
I’ve been passionate about travel since a very small age and was responsible for, at about the age of 6 for running up a huge phone bill (Sorry Mum) calling random numbers in countries like Azerbaijan and Russia just so I could hear what people sounded like in places far away. My prized childhood possession was an atlas which I could while away hours reading and memorising capital cities of far flung places.
I was born in Hawaii and during my very young years lived in Miami and Paris before spending a good portion of early childhood in Ireland. We moved to the UK in the early 90’s and Brighton has been my home ever since. While I dream of one day running a little bar in somewhere like Paxos living a basic but very tanned existence, Brighton for me is just perfect.
When I am not working, being sarcastic or having a vino I’m thinking about holidays. Travel is a hugely dominate factor in my life and not only do I love planning for myself, I thoroughly enjoy helping and giving tips to others.
Through this blog I hope to share with you my travel experiences and offer advice, budgeting, tips and hopefully some fun and interesting content.
